Date Formula - Need 15th of Prior Month

I'm trying to arrive at a date that will equal the 15th of the month prior to the date already listed. For instance, if I have 9/1/14 in A1, I'd like A2 to equal 8/15/14. I fee like I've tried a million things and read tons of pages online, but still haven't seen a way to do it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
 
Formula is:
=EOMONTH(A1,-2)+15

EOMONTH is End Of Month. So, we find the end of the month 2 months ago, giving us July 31st, and add 15 days to that to give us Aug 15.
