Hi,

data validation problem i am facing here
when the fallowing conditions are in one formula it is not working. but individually it is working.
better to get result by using all conditions in one formula
1) c1 is blank then d1 entry not allow
2) c1="new name" then d1 entry allow
3) c1= number then d1 entry allow

Hi ,

The first row is being used by the headers.

Your DV formula in D2 should be referring to C2.

=OR($C2="new name",ISNUMBER($C2))

Hi,

yes i wrote wrong c2 and d2 is correct
after copying your dv formula, if c2 is blank d2 allowing entry
here should not be allowed entry
