Hi all,
Interesting issue I have not come across previous.
Is there a way without using VB to incorporate an index match result and data validation list? So basically if the item in question matches certain criteria, then the cells are populated and if there is no match, then a dropdown is provided per cell and would need manual selection.
Hopefully the attached will help show the issue. Row 14 of sheet 1 pulls data based on criteria, where as the other impact cells are dropdowns. So if 'Type' on row 14 changed and did not match, then the data would not be pulled and dropdowns would be required.
I had managed to incorporate an index match in the data validation, but this then offered a drop down with only one selection. So it matched, but did not populate the single option then in the dropdown.
Any guidance appreciated.
