data should match between two excel sheets formula required for that

my main excel sheet contains data from diff centres and it is frequently changing.one more sheet is there for my reference.I want that whenever i copy data from main sheet to my sheet the data should match and if not then an error should be displayed.columns are same in both the excel files but problem is that i am sending main sheet to different centres for filling up of data and data is coming from different centres and finally i have to combine that data in my sheet while copying error might happen so i need a check for that

In this workbook there are 2 sheets named Main and Nov .I want formula in Main sheet and data should be compared with Nov sheet anywhere you can put formula like w1 col,w2 col etc.Pls help me out

hi Aparna,

Can you please share the sample file...It would be much easier for the members here to come up with a robust solution..
 
Aparna - I have a question...there are a lot tabs in your workbook...can you please explain where do you paste data in this file and where do you want the formula..
