copy text from the next populated cell

Sheet 1 is an entry log and sheet 2 is an order sheet to be sent to a client. If an entry is made in sheet 1, cell A1, I want it to populate to sheet 2, cell A1, but, if sheet 1, cell A2 contains text, I want that to be copied to sheet 2, cell A1, and so on down the column in sheet 1.

But aren't all the cells containing text? What differentiates between the contents of cell A1 and A2

Sheet 1 is a running log so the A1 might contain the name of a specific project and A2 might contain the name of a different project.

So do you want to take the last row of the Sheet1 and put it on A1 of Sheet2?

Yes, but the last row will change as entries are made into the log.
