Conditional formatting

Hi Friends,

I am not able to solve this could you please guide me .....

The start and end dates will be entered
Problem:
The period between these dates must be in white rest in other colour

But the problem is it not considering the cycle which was mentioned....

Please also explain me formula..because I could not understand it :(

I've changed the formatting on the headers to make it easier to read where the breaks are. I also included a write-up on how the formula works.

Thank you very much for your time....

But here one more condition is not satisfying.....

i.e if the end date is 12-Sep-14 then October Cell should be in white...as the cycle 10-Aug to 9-Sep-14 is September

Everything is working fine and only this condition should be fulfilled......

Please help me on this
 
Using that same logic then, do we extend the starting point as well? If we have a start date of Apr 4, should the March cell also be white? I thought we were coloring only complete cells is the reason for current setup.
