Conditional Formating Question Please Help

Hey Folks,
I have attached a copy of the workbook I am using. You will see column "D" on worksheet "Deficiencies" has names and then the following columns have dates. I have the range of cells with dates formatted so that the text changes to red when the date is reached however I cannot seem to figure out how to format the "D" column to change to red text whenever a date in any of the cells in the corresponding row changes to red. Basically I want the date to turn red when it is reached as well as the name that corresponds to that date. Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have tried both of these and neither one has worked. I appreciate the help though. This is starting to frustrate me lol.
 
Can you elaborate on "neither one has worked"? W/o knowing what went wrong, it's very hard for us to figure out how to correct things.

Also, the file I posted showed the CF in place with text formatted red, so I'm even more curious as to what was wrong.
 
I used the formatting that you used on a copy of my spreadsheet and it turned names red that had no red dates next to them.
 
I have the formatting in place so that the dates change red when they are supposed to, I just cant figure out how to change the formatting for the D column so that a name will change red when any date in the same row changes.
 
You would help the members to help you if you upload your recent work book with your CF so that we can see what you are doing.

Is there something different in the layout of your actual document? All we can do is make suggestions based on what you gave us, and what you gave us works with the CF formulas we wrote. :(

But even with the help I received I am not going to say what the outcome is, if some one else needs help in the same area they can always ask for help
