Condition 1

Value a 388.500 Value b 0.100 Subtraction a-b = 388.400
Straight Forward subtraction

Condition 2
Value a 250.075 Value b 0.400 Subtraction a-b = 249.175
when digits after decimal points in a2 are lesser than digits after decimal points in b2 use formula given

Value a 399.100 Value b 0.400 Subtraction a-b = 398.200

it is possible to integrate these two condition to return a value based on the condition supplied.

kindly help.

=IF(MOD(A1,1)>=B1,A1-B1,A1-B1-0.5)
