Combo box control only shows one value

I have a combo box (form Control not Active X control). For the input range, I used a range of dates going from E4:Q4 (horizontally).

Only the first value shows up in the drop down menu. Where are all the other vales? Are you not allowed to use an input range across a single row?

No ; the list has to be a vertical list over multiple rows down a column.
