Automating/templating Pivot Tables And Charts

I have a report that I generate in excel on a daily basis. From that one report, I create about 5 pivot tables and charts (kind of time consuming). Is there a way to create a template and simply "drop" the source data into excel on a daily basis and have the pivot tables and charts created automatically?, data wont be same all the day it varies

Thanks!

Hi villival,

Yes, it is very much possible..go through the below links containing samples..this will help...

You can also use insert table option to dynamically define your data ranges..

@Asheesh OP informed by conversation the benefits of starting a new post.

Conversation contents:-

You have asked a slightly different question in this thread about templates, no matter how similar a question may be you should always start a new post for various reasons.

1/ Those that have helped will think they have done all they can and may not revisit.

2/ Those who have visited but where not able to offer any help BUT could have helped your last post may not revisit

3/ Any help received will not show up in a search as you have buried your question in another post.

New question, no matter how similar should have a new post with a clear title.
