How to protect only the author name in excel 2007?

I don't want to protect another things in sheet.

Please guide me

You could try the following but you must understand Excel security has more holes than Swiss cheese

To do what you want you must make the file "Read Only"

Go to the Protect Sheet dialog box (Review tab, Changes group, Protect Document). And mark the file as read only
 
As Bob alludes to, the security in XL is not strong enough to do what you have requested. :(
