Advance Filter Date Criteria strange behave

i am trying to advance filter by date but it seems, that i am applying advance filter in a wrong method.
enclosed is the attached file, please share any link tutorial if you have any for date criteria like date equal to or date less than or date between.
please suggeest what should i do , or if you have any solution

Hi ,

The rules for using Advance Filter are as follows :

1. You can use the Copy option only when you are on the active sheet.

What this means is that in your case , you should first activate the tab named Extract ; only then you should click on the Advanced Filter button.

2. If you do not want to specify any criterion , leave it blank ; using the wildcard character * is only for functions like SUMIF.

3. Specifying a date beneath a column header in the criteria range will use that date as a criterion.

4. If you want to use criteria such as between two dates , repeat the column header , and specify the criteria by including the < , <= , > , >= signs as required before the specific dates.
