Can you suggest a good and FREE add-in for Excel that does what ASAP Utilities or KuTools do?

FYI, the site that you mentioned has nothing close to ASAP Utilities or Kutools.

Thank you for your condescending and patronising reply, just trying to help, as a person not blessed with the power of mind reading had no idea of you or your levels of experiences. But as you know the basics of the internet I am sure you will find answers.

Suggest you tell us specifically the functionality you're interested in. I've never heard of KuTools, and don't have ASAP Utilities loaded (although it sounds familiar). So hard to give you recommendations based on the entire functionality of two addins. You need to give more information, so that we're not floundering around in the dark.

As an aside, I suggest you look through some of bobhc's 2,600 posts on this forum. You'll see he's a damn helpful, hardworking dude who only shows up here to help. You're slightly behind him in terms of kudos on this board. What bob said would be exactly what I would have said.

First , let me clarify that I am not being patronising ; my opinion is that if free software had all of the functionality that paid-for software had , then who would pay and buy ?

As Jeff has suggested , if you can specify exactly what functionality you are looking for , someone on this forum may have suggestions ; as such I think Google is your best friend for your question.
