3 scale color conditional formatting

Hi
I have formula in every cell that shows percentage based on discount given on list price
I want to use 3 colour scale conditional formatting to represent that percentage but I failed trying this
I know I can used formatting with cell contains value but I need that preview bar than goes from red to faded green instead of one solid color base on value

Hi ,

I am not able to understand your requirement ; if you say that you want a 3-colour gradient bar in cell A3 , what purpose will this serve ?

Conditional formatting is added to cells to make it easier to get a feel for the values without needing to concentrate on the precise values ; seeing a red colored cell will immediately let us know that the value is an abnormal value. See a green colored cell tells us that the value is a satisfactory number.

Seeing all 3 colors in a cell ; what will this tell us ?
